Choosing a length

I’m using them to hold chicken wire on my metal chicken house frame.
I received the white ties with the galvanized frame, but some of the subscribers suggested the uv black ties because the suns rays are not as hard on them as it is on the clear ones. The frame is really nice and sturdy. Love it.

They broke every time I tried to use them. I threw the entire package away.

Waste of money!
Bought these zip ties to affix mesh fabric to my dog run fencing. Though advertised as suitable for outdoor use and UV coated, only 1/3 of them actually worked properly. One third of them snapped and broke while tightening, and the other third simply wouldn't stay tightened at all. Sub-standard product from you-know-where. Buy another brand; these are CRAP!

I liked the strength of the Zip Ties because I live in Las Vegas where the summers are over 100 degrees every day. The Ties were used for the netting over my fruit trees and are exposed to the full sun every day. Great value for the money. Karen

UV Zip-tie fasteners GOOD
I ordered these to tie trunk protectors on some new trees. They're great for that job and I like that they should survive outdoors in the weather. Got them in a timely fashion, which was also helpful.

Really easy to work with, and they do hold well in extremely high temperatures. We used them to attach bamboo to a metal fence in the direct las vegas sun during a heatwave (105 - 115 every day). They haven't even faded...

Great for attaching outdoor cafe lights to cable. Easy to attach. Just trim the tails once attached and move to the next until done.

extra long zip ties
These are big, long and tough. Work exactly as you would want a zip tie to work. They are black. I found them a little stiff to zip initially, but once you get them going, they're great. I would buy them again should I need these size again.

My go to zip tie
Great outdoor zip ties. I used these for fencing, they are extremely strong and easy to use. Lasted in direct sun for over a year before drying up and snapping, where I just bought another pack to replace them. If they’re not under direct sunlight I would assume they can last for much longer.

These ties are fantastic and hold up well to the hot Arizona sun and winds (much better than the ones you can get at the big box stores). I ordered them last year and was so pleased that I ordered again. They were received in good timing, however the original packaging on both bags was torn open and the packages reclosed in a clear plastic heat-sealed bag. So, naturally I counted and sure enough, there was less than 100 in each package. I first contacted FenceScreen and they quickly replied that the order is fulfilled by Amazon and should not have been sent out if not in the original packaging. So, I contacted Amazon and thus far have had no reply. So if you don't mind getting less than you paid for in an open package, the product is well worth the cost (the only reason for 3 stars). I don't like being cheated, so I will be looking for another source.

Great UV Fasteners
Great Fasteners! Used on my nylon trellis for sugar snap peas. Worked great. At the end of season all I had to do was cut them off the top trellis bar and roll up the pipe/posts with the nylon trellis to save in shop for next season.

Wide and Strong
These are very strong and wider than the usual cheap 8 inch zip tie. Width is about 8mm, or 5/16ths. Time will tell as to UV protection.
