DOESN'T RESIST, STAND THE SUN
With the heat, it has cracked and fallen off, the side of my yard that has shade it's still there, but the other sides where the sun heats, it's gone.

Holding up great in New Mexico heat / wind / monsoon season. Direct sunlight almost all day and hasn’t faded. Pretty easy to install; the clips were hard to push through but we used a hole punch before inserting and that worked great! They fit through the links well but we’ve had to purchase 3 so far and still need more. Happy with it tho!

Color was what I expected, but the clasps to put through to hold together is VERY CHEAP and kept breaking.

Functional and Stylish for a good price!
Got the white tape, and it is very thick and durable! Used it on our picket fence to give more backyard privacy and I love it! Functional and stylish with the weave style. We didn't use the gold brackets it came with as they seemed a bit flimsy, so I just bought some white fence screws to secure them down on the back side.
Can't speak on long term durability, but for $150 to have privacy I would say it is well worth it. Bought 3 boxes and have most of the 3 roll left, so will just replace as needed over the years.

This product provides tons of privacy. It was very time intensive, but it wasn't hard. I second what others have said about having a hole punch. That made things go much faster. I had a fake hedge on my gate first, but this was much better.

This works just like it says it does. It’s easy to use. I keep a small flock of waterfall in my backyard. It helps to keep them calm to block out some of the noise and visual stimulation from the street.

Some what easy to install
This is nice to cover for fence privacy. A bit tricky to install, but once you get the pattern it get a bit easier. Light weight. Looks nice. Great value for what you get, light weight tape.

Amazing resolution to deck privacy issue!
Amazing resolution to privacy issue! I purchased 4 of boxes in Obsidian Black. (beware 3 out of 4 boxes were truly a matte finish., one was more glossy.) Thank goodness I started off with a matte finished roll and was able to complete my 16 x 20 deck with 3 boxes. Privacy was an issue, so I researched an economical way to enhance my deck by basket weaving the privacy tape horizontally in and out of my black vertical spindles. The value for the money is so good compared to any other option I had found.

Easy to install and provides enough privacy
This was very easy to install although I did have a knife on the side to make a hold to install the pins. It is time consuming but hey just throw on a podcast or video and time flies by. I'm very happy with the end result and so far 6 months later, it's still holding up strong.

Durable and quick shipping
I purchased this Privacy Fence tape in Black. My order arrived quickly. This product is very durable, attractive, and price-efficient. One box probably measures 4x6 for a chain-link fence. It performed well during the summer heat of 102 degrees, but let's see how it measures up in the 10-degree weather of Queens. Not only do I recommend this product, but I will be purchasing it again for other properties.

Works well with a vertical fencing!
In attempting to keep my neighbor’s dog from seeing my dog and barking, I gave this product a shot. This worked perfectly and looks really nice. It blocks the view into my neighbors yard not only for the dogs, but for my sake.
The fasteners are not great and made the job harder than it had to be; they are too flimsy and bend too easily so I had to poke a hole with a nail, following up with the fastner.
Now the only question is how long will it last with the Arizona sun?

300 ft in box would saved me the first and second attempts.
I installed several years ago on one side fence. Knowing wasn’t enough to do other half waited. Finally bought second box . Course unable to still finish. (250 ft doesn’t go far.)
I like that quality and has held up as far as not fading and abuse of yard work. ( lol )
My disappointment. Not buying another whole another box. Suggest if you can decide if 250 ft is enough maybe go with another that has minimum 300ft..:(
Just fell short, had to much left over not to attempt to make the side section. The 50 ft I was short from initial box to finish is why I purchased second hopeful maybe could make it. I didn’t.

I purchased 10 boxes of the privacy tape and I am amazed. Since I purchased this in white, my black fence looks sleek and the privacy tape gives an added bonus that I love. The size and thickness of the privacy tape provides a lot of coverage. Although it can be time consuming to do on your own, it will be quicker to have someone help. I purchased white slats and it looked warped and awful so I returned the slats. In comparison, I prefer the privacy white tape...hands down!!

Please note how long this will take you, the fasteners they send with this are so flimsy it’s almost impossible to push them through. It was such a pain to use. What should have been a quick and easy process was not at all. So disappointed in the materials

Privacy & looks nice
This privacy fence tape made for a fun afternoon project. Installed this in about 3 hours start to finish, first time user. Material is Easy to use, measure, cut, weave and secure. We will see how well it holds up to our New Mexico sunshine. Will purchase more for the dog kennel. And will update as needed. Note: use a really comfortable small hole puncher.

Well this was a very tedious job but the end result is fantastic. I've already gotten so many compliments from my neighbors. Someone else wrote a review and mentioned getting a hole punch to make the job easier which it did exactly that! Life savor! Good for privacy but catches wind more
It's a long process to install but it's good and durable. Keep in mind it basically transforms your gate into a boat sail that will catch all of the wind... So your posts should be extra sturdy or else things may go very badly for you if everything collapses.

Very affordable option!
For the price I feel like this was a good deal. Much more affordable than others I looked at and did the job. The plastic isn’t flimsy or cheap feeling and was a nice white color(not off white). It was easy to thread through my chain link fence. It is a bit difficult to push the little metal fasteners in, though. Maybe I was just not strong enough? So I used a pair of scissors to punch a hole and then pushed the fasteners in. It was tricky trying to hold the plastic strip, fastener, and use the scissors at the same time! I kept dropping the fastener and lost a few. Not too big of a deal, but something to consider. I’m pleased with the purchase and purchased again.

Small, cheap brads to hold tape!
Overall this product does as it is advertised, but the brads included are small and cheap and bend easily. It does not include anything to punch a hole in the tape to insert the brads through. The quickest and easiest way to use the tape using the included brads is probably to buy a very small hole punch. The tape itself is as advertised; I just covered my fencing recently so no sure how long these brads will hold up.

Been trying to find an easy and inexpensive way to add privacy to my chain linked fences and gates. Found this and it looked easy enough and it is! Took me less than 2 hours to do this one on my own, went much easier and faster when my granddaughter helped me with the other gate. Very happy with the outcome. Definitely recommend. Only thing is I didn’t realize this didn’t come with hole puncher had to use my granddaughters which was smaller but still worked fine!

Inexpensive Fence Privacy Project
I needed to block my barking dog’s view from our side yard to the street and this product did what it was supposed to do. My only issue was the instructions for the fasteners as it’s vague as to how the fasteners are applied. They are a very thin metal that bends if you try to push it through the polyethylene material, which is not actually tape. So I had to use a knife to cut a small slit to push the fasteners through. In the end it worked and I can recommend this product.

Great at first but didn't last.
Initially loved the product.
Tedious but easy to install.
Looks great for a while, but after three years in Pennsylvania climate and they began to show heavy signs of deteriorating.
Now in year 4 they're crumbling everywhere.
Will replace with something better lasting.

No Disappointment
Quality product. If this is what you want, then don’t be afraid to get it. The fabric feels good quality. I am using it to stop my dog as the neighbor dog trying to bit each other through the fence (and hide their unkept yard) and it’s already worked. Notice that sun will still get through. It’s not complete privacy but for semi-privacy it’s a great option compared to the price of a new vinyl fence.

When we first installed we were very pleased and happy with the outcome. Now 1 year later all of them are just popping and falling apart. Box states 5 year warranty. They do not last as mentioned can withstand any weather. Pictures show they just cracking and crumbling. For the price I would expect better.

Does nothing for dogs. Cosmetic only.
It's advertised as keeping dogs from barking at each other. For a couple of days after installation, it seemed like it might decrease the intensity or frequency of incidents with our corgis running the fence and barking at the corgis across the fence. We have a large yard, too, so we thought the fact of it masking more from a distance than up close would be ok. After a week, it basically does nothing. The dogs know when the other dogs are out, and they bark and run the fence.
We had about 25 linear feet of 4 foot fence to cover, and it took a little over one package of the tape to cover. It took two of us about 3-4 hours of work to put it up, with one of us crawling along the bottom and the other doing to top of the fence. It would be very difficult to install if you have landscaping/flower beds along the fence line. We didn't have a problem with running out of brads like some other reviewers, but we definitely used the tip of having a metal punch to get through the tape before putting the brads through.

Nice product!
The product is very good, and there was a good length on the roll. I wove it through my fence to keep the rabbits out. I saw a bite mark through it though the next day, so I wish it was more bite-proof. I would make one recommendation to the manufacturer/packager. If there was a cardboard ring inside of the rolled up tape, that may have prevented the inside of the roll from popping out, unrolling, and getting in the way all the time. I would suggest to consumers to leave it in the box and pulling the tape out through a slit so the whole roll doesn't come undone. 20/20 hindsight.

Great until your dog gets ahold of it
Overall, installation was easy so long as the strips were pre-punctured with a metal tool so the fastener could be inserted. And then my dog found out the material is fun to pull on. Gonna have to try something more robust. So long as it's just sitting there this should be fine.

Exactly as Expected and Easy
We received the product much sooner than the anticipated deliver. It’s exactly what is advertised. Leases just enough space on the sides. Really to install; while the package says no tools to install (depending on how literal you may be), I love that it’s a simple snip with the scissors. The price is definitely worth it. We’ve had some pretty knarly storms coming through and it’s held up tightly through all of them. The color is picture perfect white. The picture you see is with 2 boxes. We have some extra, but not enough for full rows ( which is my fault because I like being overly cautious). We will definitely continue to use this product in the future and have already ordered more to complete our small fence.

Love and therapeutic installation
It works super well and looks great from the road. Couple things I learned installing. It doesn’t come with enough of the brass nails so you’ll need to buy more. After having them up for a few months now I’ve found the brass nails that came with it are holding up nicely in the weather and the additional ones I purchased separately are getting rusty. In the future I may have to replace those and in hindsight i should have investigated the weather resistance of the additional brass nails I purchased. Installation is easy and kind of relaxing if you like patterns and doing puzzles but if you’re doing a lot of fencing it will take some time. I set of a junk towel to stand/sit on, put on a big hat and set up my supplies and listened to a podcast. I only did roughly 25 feet of 5 foot tall chain link (the area around our gates and both a single and double gate) and i had to purchase 3 boxes. I found for installation the brass nails don’t really puncture the material well with out bending first so I took a very small screw driver and would make a pilot hole first and then secure the vinyl closed with the brass nail. This was way quicker and became a pretty easy process. For the price and the area that I wanted some decent privacy it was definitely worth it for us.

Terrible install
The product itself I suppose works, but they provide you brads to hold it together. Most of the time these just bend as you try and push them through. These brads were meant for paper not two layers of plastic. Good example of a company cheaping out on their product. Would not recommend.

This is my second purchase. They look good, but they only last 5 or six years; then they become brittle and Crack.
I guess the climate has a lot to do with the longevity. Overall, I do like the product and the finished look.

The included brass hardware that is supposed to penetrate and secure the fence tape are very flimsy. I couldn't get one to actually go through the tape without collapsing on itself. I decided to return item as opposed to seeking out better hardware.

Looks great at the beginning , don’t expect to last you longer than 2 .5 years
I purchased many rolls (9) for privacy and to finish the weave I had started when I first purchase our house (25 years) on the other side. The color redwood was available to match and I went along and purchased all 9 (3 to 1 ratio ) it was easy and it looked great. In the second summer I noticed they started to crumbled in some parts and by spring they are almost have disappeared . I called and complained because it gives warranty and unfortunately couldn’t get anywhere with the company. Amazon tried to remedy the problem but it should had been the opposite and I should had received a better quality product , just like the one I have on one side that it’s still standing. Not only did it take time and patience to do all the rolls but now every year gets worse. Hoping product gets better , but I would like to know how many of these rolls are still up in customers backyard.

only needed a few pieces to fill in a gap on a gate. Cut and installed easy enough but it will not stand up to the Arizona sun. Pieces I used only lasted one summer. Not sure of the brand but the other pieces in the fence have lasted for years without damage.

Easy concept. Decent coverage. Awful mechanism.
I’ll start with the negative and end with the positive. The pins they supply to fasten the tape are terrible! Often they don’t stick together when you try to stick them through so you only get half the pin through. Miserable to work with, but not impossible. I could only work on it for about 30 minutes cause the kids were sick and I was glad to stop cause the pins were so frustrating.
Otherwise, the installation is easy. The weaving effortless. Seems it would be super easy to wash down to freshen it up if it got dirty. And it allows for FAR MORE privacy.

Privacy and looks
I'm using a chocolate webbing on neighbors cyclone fence instead of replacing my wood fence. So far only small section is done because of the weather. I think when it all gets done I will like the looks of it and the privacy it will provide. Only one improvement would be better connectors for attaching to cyclone fence.

Enhances the look of the chain link fence
I have about 90 feet of 4 feet high chain link fence that I wanted to add some privacy to. This product seems sturdy enough and is easy to install but does becomes tedious after a short period of time. I bought 4 rolls initially and used it to complete about 40 feet of fencing. It really made the fence look good but also provided the privacy I wanted. I then ordered another 4 rolls to complete the remaining fencing. The job goes by quickly if two people are working on it (try to find someone who has patience and cares about the quality of the job). If I have any concerns it would be in regards to the clips and how long they will hold up. I also ordered a hand held hole punch which helps a great deal in speeding up the task at hand.

I bought so many of these, I did my whole 6Ft fence. It looks so nice however It’s more see through then I would like. It’s very time consuming to add it to the fence. I suggest taking your time. Do one box a day. Or just hire someone to do it. Edges of the fence are the hardest. Each strip is a different length. But middle areas i sold just measure it once and count how many rows I needed and measure them all out before hand. Take something sharp to punch a hole before using the grommets. Over all the quality is good the strips are waterproof and hold up nice even when I walked the, with a weedwacker. However I wish they offered more privacy. Head on they work great but at any angle looking at the fence the visibility through the fence is very clear. The fence sure dose look nice with it though.

Not Good
It was difficult and time consuming to put up. The instructions did not explain how to insert the brads. The only instructions were on the outside of the box. The brads are so flimsy you can not push them through the tape. I used an ice pick to push holes through the tape. I had to have help to put it up. Looks nice but a real pain in the rear end to put up.

They hide 90% of the yard
If you have two or three people to help thread the fence, you can connect the strips at the top, move forward and allow the person behind you to thread the strips.

Think before you buy
Product would be a five star if I would have took in consideration that I have dogs that jump up and down the gate which causes the tape to rip other than that I would say it would be good.

Easy install, nice look
Installation was easy enough to do (helps to have a hole punch or a sharp piercing object instead of just stabbing the clips through), and it looks nice. Looks much better if you double it up ( x instead of // ). Without doubling it up it only obscures the visual; doubling it up looks nicer overall and also offers much more privacy.

This is excellent for privacy and has a beautiful effect. But it does take time to do and you need something to punch holes for the brads. We used a large nail. We love it now that we took the time to do it!

A Bit Tedious to Install
Overall, I'm happy with the final product. Definitely tedious to do but worth it. Not sure how long the brass brads will hold up, but repairing/replacing will be easy.
I've included a pic. I have an ugly stump imbedded in the fence, so that was a bit of a hassle, but it went up fairly easily. I did it myself, so I had to figure out a "system". I started the weave from the top so it all looked the same. When I got to the bottom, I secured there 1st, pulled up the slack and then secured the top. I used a cheapie little knife point to make a starter hole in the strip. The brads are cheap and bend, so they need a head start. I may run another set of strips the opposite direction for max wind blocking, I haven't decided yet. Looks good, does the job. Would I want to do a long stretch of fencing? Uh, no and definitely not if I was doing it myself. Phone a friend to make this little project easier, but you can definitely do it yourself.

Huge difference using this product.
Had a six-foot chain link fence put in early in the spring. The crew that put up the fence did a great job but the "privacy slats" I was sold sight-unseen were worthless. No better than a screen door. Found the Fenpro privacy tape on line and added it to the fence, over the slats. Huge difference! The tape seems pricey but to do the same amount of fence that I bought slats for was about a third of the price. The fasteners that come with the fence are a nuisance to use and you receive far more than needed but that was easily resolved by getting longer brads at the local office supply store as hardware stores here did not carry them. Recommend running the tape from bottom to top and then cutting the length you need because some runs may take a bit more tape if you need to work around a wire or clamp. Great product, highly recommend!

The privacy weave is thinner than Yardgard and Pexco brands
The vendor mailed the order right away. The only problem was the Fenpro privacy weave is THINNER than the 2 brands we've been using (Yardgard & Pexco). So the color looks different than beige we've been using unless you double it up which would make it a more labor intensive installation. Probably suitable for mild climate zones. So just be advised it's slightly thinner than some brands.

Problem solved, did it myself!
Was able to create enough privacy that my pups no longer stand at my fence and bark at my neighbor’s sweet dog. I spent several hours weaving the webbing in and out of my chain link fence, it was easy and I took my time.

We wanted to hide our pool equipment, so I purchased dog panels (kennel) and added two colors of this privacy tape. I weaved it in the opposite direction for more privacy. We really love it.
This is a great product, with great impact for a reasonable price. It also adds color in that boring corner.

Easy to install
As I said easy to install just laborious. took me over three hours to double wrap a double-wide gate. Also, the fasteners that come with it are a bit to small buy larger. They ask about sheerness mine is solid green not translucent. they ask about sturdiness so far so good.

I like this product but it takes hours and hours to install. My patience ran out before I got it finished. There has to be a better way to instal it. A snap would work better than those tiny stupid brads. :(

You have to figure out some way to attach the brass fasteners a hole punch makes too big of a hole so I don't recommend that you can take a sharp knife or like a utility blade and just pinch the flap over the chain link when you're trying to make the hole for the brass fastener. Take a fresh utility knife blade and just poke a little hole through both pieces and that should be enough to let the tabs on the brass fasteners slip through both sides of the fence material. The product is good quality and it looks good once you leave it through the fence I would recommend it.

Easy to install but a little time consuming. Do yourself a favor and use a nail to make the holes, the brass attachments are difficult to get thru the tape. I’m not sure how well the product will do with time because it was just recently installed but it looks promising I’ll update and issues

Order more then you calculate you will need.
Calculated what we would need for the distance we were going to install and ordered an extra box. As you can see we still ran a few pieces short. Really happy with the over all project and have ordered another box. Just letting people know that if you’re going to install on the diagonal like we did that you will need more than you think.

I’ve had this tape on two fence gates for 4-5 years and it has held up really well, I needed to do another fence that went from 10 feet to 5 feet so could not use the slats
The slats are expensive and this method is cost effective, the chain link openings on this fence are smaller than my gates and it is very good at privacy on the fences I also put some shade cloth on the back side and that worked well for privacy also

Perfect For My Needs
I needed something to help give us a little more privacy on our front porch. This does the trick. Easy to put up. I hope it lasts as long as it says it will. I guess we will see. I needed to get more to finish the fence but they seem to be out of the color I need. Too bad.

Works but not quite...
I was disappointed to find out the strip of "plastic" isn't the width of normal chain-link fencing! I realized that a cross weave will fix this issue and probably look pretty good but that does mean twice the price. I would pay half this or find a product that is the correct size. Also, I would prefer to have extra brads left over than run out before I've used all the stripping.

Great privacy gate cover for nosy dogs or people
I got this because my dogs are very nosy which like to watch for people and other dogs to bark at them. Having this Chain Link Fence Privacy Tape ( it isn't tape exactly more like a bendable vinyl strip) has pretty much halted all the barking from my dogs since they can't see others but still can smell them when close enough (beagles have great noses for smelling and loud voices).
This went on very easy. Weaving the strips through the chain link fence was easy and simple. The only issue - one of poppers which is used to close the strip closed came undone. We are veterans with not so great hands and fingers so it took a bit and used a tool to make it fully snap close but i am sure people without this issue won't have any issues. Which is the only reason I gave a 4 star on installation.
I have had this up for months and no issues not even when we just got a blizzard.
I do recommend. 5 Stars!!

UPDATE~ The redwood color tape has deteriorated but the green is fine. I have reached out to the company. I see that color is discontinued which is probably why! I would love a replacement as that was 70 dollars worth of red tape.
This was relatively easy to install by 2 people. It looks great and we have plenty left to do our front gate. We like it so much we ordered another color to do another pattern!
We had plenty of fasteners for this but need to purchase more since we still have 1/2 rolls left which is great.
As far as sheerness it’s not easy to see through but its not completely blocking.

I bought this for front gate, but decided black would be a better look. Amazon doesn't carry black so had to get it locally. I was able to use this on side of carport on the lattice there. It looks fine, does what it's supposed to do.

There can be a color lot difference.
Three rolls were all a matching color. The fourth roll had a noticeable color difference. It wasn't noticed until most of the roll was installed and I stepped away to examine the installation. I had to remove and replace 32 sections of the tape.

The fasteners they gave you are complete junk I bought one roll I did my fence they didn’t give me enough of fasteners as some of them bend they don’t wanna pierce through the plastic so I waited till spring and I ordered another rule and when I went back to the fence I saw the fasteners are cheap and they’re starting to generate tarnish and rust I like the idea that this gives you privacy but you have to do your own research and find your own fasteners for the price you pay for this product they should’ve gave you brass fasteners. Don’t bother doing this job unless you got fasteners cause you’re just gonna have to redo it in a year or two

Easy to install
This was an inexpensive way to minimize the view. We store a lot of things in our dog run which is visible to the public. I decided to get a privacy fence. This was pretty easy to install. The only problem I ran into was running out of material. I bought it on Amazon but they discontinued that style. Fortunately, I was able to finish off my fence by going directly to the company. It was more expensive. I would suggest getting an extra roll just in case.

This is just our small back gate, but I wanted to show y’all the process! We are going to do it for the front yard as well. This took about 40-50 minutes to do. It’s a little time consuming but it’s worth it. It’s easier to puncture the pins through when you take something like scissors/tack through it first. Nice product!

Time consuming
I attached mine to a lattice fence. Just installed it today. I recommend using staples instead of the tacks that are included in the box. Those are extremely hard to punch through the tape and 3 out of 5 times, they end up bending and you have to discard them. I got so frustrated, I ended up using a stapler and it doesn’t look that great. I’ll submit an updated review in a few months once I find out how well it withstands the heat and Santa Ana winds.

This privacy tape definitely does add privacy to a chain link fence and it's simple to install. It does, however, take awhile and get quite expensive to do a long section of fencing. The only thing I found disappointing was that after all the time and effort I put into installation, it does not hold up very well to hot sun exposure, nor a neighbor hitting with a weed eater!

Solid product. Looks great and, while I've recently installed the product, I have every reason to believe that it'll last for many seasons. It'll take you some time to figure out the easiest way(s) to use the tacks at each end. I used a roll pin punch. Also, you may need to order additional tacks.

Strong but flexible, Be creative
I used this plastic tape on wire mesh panels installed as part of a privacy fence. I just wove it up and down the panel. Not fancy but looks good.
Several years ago, I used this tape on a separate free-standing panel. I used two colors, looks like a Native American pattern. It is holding up well in the wind and sun and cold. I cut it in reasonable length strips to weave it through the mesh, then fastened the strips together with the included fasteners. Punched through the plastic with an ice pick. I am happy it was still available. Recommended.

Provides a Good Amount of Privacy
The product provides a good amount of privacy. It’s a little timely to install, but serves its purpose well. My only complaint is that we ran out of the studs to hold it in place well before we ran out of the black privacy tape. In my photo, the tape that is left on the ground we will have to go purchase additional studs for, and we did not lose or break any - there just simply wasn’t enough.

Great and easy solution to an ugly metal fence
I bought this to spruce up my silver metal fence. I painted it black and added this. It comes with holders and I used regular scissors to cut it. Easy to install and my fence looks soooo much better plus we now have privacy!

So I purchased this item 2 years ago and amazingly it held up pretty well. Just now its finally started to break apart in the New Mexico weather. So I would say that 2 years is how long it will last. The only upsetting thing is that now that I go to purchase it again, it jumped from $29.99 to $56.99. Thats almost a 100% uptick. I had to buy 3 rolls to cover my whole yard so what cost me $90 will now cost me $170. Thats nuts. Might have to wait till this pandemic goes away or the Chinese sells a cheaper version.

The brads used to secure the strap, make sure you bend them in opposite directions. I bent them the same way and they don’t stay strapped. I also used a pick to make a single hole. Since bending the brads in opposite directions I haven’t had any issues with the straps coming loose. Very easy to install.

I used this product on the chain link fence between my yard and the neighbor’s yard. My dog consistently barks at the neighbor’s dog on one side of my back yard. There’s an area of approximately 6 feet where he can see them when they’re outside so I didn’t need to do the entire fence. So far, it has worked well. Out of sight, out of mind.

Worth the time and money!
This stuff is amazing and easy to install. We used a drill it to pre puncture the holes for the brass like secure pin. Each roll gives you 48 full length row pieces for a diagonal pattern. We found one length and used it as a template. Worked really well! We will be getting more to finish this fence until we eventually get a wood fence when lumber prices go back to "normal"

Mom, it's blocking my view!
This installed rather easily for me. My dog barks endlessly at anyone or anything that passes the front of the house. I purchased this to decrease full view to the street. You can see him peaking through to the right. It will not be full proof, but I am hoping it will help discourage some of the barking. Time will tell how well it holds up to Minnesota weather and of course the dog. He is a chewer.

My biggest suggestion would be to provide more of the brads / connectors. I have another gate to do on the other side of the house and I am sure I will not have enough. Also, a little more instruction and ideas for the installation would be helpful.

An 82 year old woman can do it!
I love the Redwood color because it matches the red metal roofs of the buildings around my pool. I wanted it for privacy and looks. Our chain link fence is very sturdy but not pretty. Installation is easy but time consuming. It will prove to be expensive eventually when I finish all 200 ft. but I love how it looks. I think the fasteners could be just a little longer but so far none has pulled out.

Works great on lattice
I have a lattice sided gazebo around my hot tub that I needed privacy on one side from my neighbors. This provided that privacy while blending into the cedar lattice. It also provides more protection from the sun and wind.

Would not recommend.
Although this product seems to be decent and looks relatively nice. The price was $39 less then a week ago. 250 foot roll doesn’t cover quite as much as described. Bc of this I had to order more. I will be ordering from a different company as I refuse to spend $60 to cover less then 10 foot of fence

Lives up to its warranty
It's a great alternative to replacing existing fence to privacy but at 5 years the length of warranty this stuff turns brittle and falls apart. All considered it is still a great cheap alternative to a pricey privacy fence.

Tedious to Install, but it is gonna look great!!
I really like the product.However the brads they give you to work with are very flimsy and difficult to use. It says in use the instructional tutorial to use the end of the brads to puncture the fence tape. This is an impossibility. I used a drill to drill a hole and inserted the brad It is cumbersome and tedious install.It would be a 5 star product if they gave you a tool to that would punch the hole and set the brad at the same time.

Hi, I needed to cover 12 m2 of fence.
I bought one box at the price of USD 39.99 + shipping to Spain + taxes.
On the cover of the box it says: 250 ft (76,2m) roll covers 40 ft2 (12.2 m2), but I now know that it is not true, 40 ft2 are only 3,71 m2 ¡¡¡
I don't want to return the product, and I don't mind to buy more product, but I see now the price is much higher USD 57.99 + proportional shipping to Spain + proportional taxes.
So an error on the cover of your box + a 50% of higher price now is going to cause me a painful cost.

Easy to install
The neighbor's dog tore out all of my aluminum slats for my chain link fence. I found this product to be very easy (though time consuming) to install. It remains to be seen just how these polymer slats will hold up to time and sun.

Brass fasteners are difficult, but not impossible.
I would've rated the fence slats 5 stars if it wasn't for the brass fasteners. I had to use a pick to pre-punch the hole for the fastener to go through. Once pushing the fastener through, its awkward to reach through and separate the brass flaps so it holds. Once in place it seems sturdy and looks nice. The slat material itself is easy to cut and install in the fence. It seems like a durable material. It's an easy install overall, just really time consuming and a bit frustrating with the brass fasteners. Time will tell on the overall durability. I initially only ordered one box to see if it was worth getting more to finish my fence line. On the whole I was happy enough with it to order 2 more boxes to finish the job. I would recommend this product.

They did not ship enough of those little hooks that hold the fencing together and we had to go out and purchase more. So maybe the packaging should come with more hooks!

Great effect
Who says you need a man to install this? I did it all by myself and it turned out fantastic. Easy to install and the final effect was exactly what I expected... I didn't use a hole puncher to secure it, I actually used a stapler and it worked great, secured it on the top and bottom and this past weekend had winds of 50 or better and it held up just fine. Great product !

Worth the price. But challenging to install.
This fence was a fair price. And it is the sturdiest for the price and of its type in Amazon I believe. However, it only sort of blocks the view of our dogs. And it took me and my husband 3 hours in total to do a less than 25 foot. And the brass tacks kill your fingers. But I’m glad we did it. It was the only one on Amazon that could be used for a gate and sturdy enough to withstand dogs jumping in it.

The strips are too thin!!!!
I was hoping that these would be a lot better at covering but they’re on the thin side. So once you install them there are still significant gaps that allow you to see through the fence. The material seems well but with how thing it is it’s not really doing much on the privacy of the fence and I installed it on a regular sized chain link fence so it was quite the disappointment. Then the clips that are used to hold on to it are not enough so i had to resort to stapling them. I’ll be needing to get an additional roll to finish covering up the section i wanted or else it won’t look right.

This was pretty easy to install. I am not normally very handy but I was able to do this with just a pair of scissors.
I sure wished I had a hole punch next time. I punched each hole with the sharp back of the fastener . It was not difficult to do, but was hard on my fingers .
The picture is one complete box the fence is 6×12 ( i got 2 boxes)
I am happy with it so far . But next time I will use something to punch the holes ..or have my teenager do it for some money 😊

Too thin and let's light through
Very dissapointed. This brand is very thin compared to the one I bought at Lowes for the same price and feet. You can see in the pics. It's the same color but the right side allows light through and you can see the chain link fence. At the top, you can see when folded it's the same color as the left. I didn't realize this until I was done. Even the pins are weaker and I had to use a nail to punch all the holes before pushing the pins through. Took me 2x as long and now I'm going to remove it, take my losses and buy the one at Lowes. I get 80mph winds and don't think this will hold up.

Very easy to install with two people. Just need hole punch and scissors along with brads and washers. We only needed one roll on our gate (ea panel is 61"x45"). Had some left over; enough for repairs if needed.
We did run out of washers because we were putting them in the front and back of the brads. Had plenty of brads though. We had to order more washers (recommend at least using on the side that fastens the brads).
There's no sheerness to the tape itself, though a second roll would be needed to lattice the gate for complete privacy.
Overall happy with the privacy tape. It is better than it was without it.

Slap on a podcast or some music and settle in, cause this stuff takes a while to put up. Goes up easy, the little brads clip through fairly easy (though I did grab an awl after the first 5 strips or so), and it feels sturdy. Ended up needing a 1/2 more box than we thought, though that's probably a beginner's error with leaving a little too much at the ends.

Fixed our problem
Used this for something unconventional. We have a large chain link dog kennel where we keep our baby ducks until they are about 4 weeks old. The problem is that the first couple of weeks after birth, they are small enough to fit through the chain link holes. We bought this to fill in the bottom half of the kennel all the way around. It worked perfect and has held up great over the last few months outside.

These look good. I choose the Black color, and also purchased the little brass disc as back up. It's too early to determine the sturdiness, but this product was affordable so Im sure if any cracks or breaks I can easily replace. One box covered 8 feet on my 4 foot tall chain link fence. I pre-cut all the slats then inserted them. takes FOREVER! LOL but the finish is worth it. I ordered more. Securing with the brass clips are the most time consuming.

The fence is great. You've got to have good knees!
The fence ends up looking great, first of all. But it's a 250' roll, so you have to feed it through - every row - starting at the top and weaving toward the ground. To do so is hell on my knees. The fasteners do not push through easily so I had small sewing scissors to punch a hole in both sides once you've flapped it over the last bar to secure. Then stand up and do it again at the top, then cut off the rest of the roll. As I said, labor intensive, but worth it. I would recommend. *Update - so I've purchased 4 rolls and am finished - it looks fantastic.

It’s very easy to install. Took me about an hour to do this and this includes me doing on and off due to my kids. Only thing is that I didn’t have enough pins to do the other portion of the fence. It’s not a big deal but could’ve supplied more pins. Other than that I am pretty happy with this and would buy it again if I need to.

Looks pretty darn good
I ordered 4 boxes to replace my old ugly, warn out green webbing and it looks so much better. It was easy to cut with regular scissors but my old webbing had clips on the ends which I re-used instead of poking holes through and using the fasteners it came with. I don’t know why they don’t sell the clips any more (at least I couldn’t find them) because they were soooo much easier. This webbing is about 1/4” smaller in width as my old stuff so it doesn’t give as much privacy, but I’m ok with that. I just wanted the gates to look more attractive. If you are looking for complete privacy this probably isn’t for you.

Used what looks like this 40+ years ago to help my Dad make a 6 ft chain link be a privacy fence. This time I was repairing some that weed eater damaged or some strips that came loose. Easy to patch. I used this material at my home 21 years ago, still good.

Love the Installation
Installation was as documented. You just needed to spend the time weaving the fabric (over/under) and it came out well. Be sure to have a good tool to poke holes for the brads. I used a inexpensive tool that pokes holes in PVC Irrigation tubing. Worked great and kept tension on the runs. Wondering what effect sunlight will have over time. Reason for the four in durability.

Easy and cheap
This is a great, cheap, way to spruce up an old chain link fence/backyard. While adding some privacy as well. Easy to install (the only tool I used was a pair of scissors). Seems very sturdy once woven in and the brad fasteners are in place. I will say the fasteners they supply a bit flimsy so you ruin a few along the way but they give you plenty (150). Overall, a great value to upgrade the look and privacy of a chain link fence.

Durable in extreme winter conditions! The plastic weave held up despite heavy snow and ice.
I like the durability of the plastic weave. However, the same cannot be said for the "brass fasteners" that come with the plastic to attach to the fence top and bottom. They disintegrate within a couple months! So, we will finish the plastic weave we have, but will probably switch to an easier product to install, like a windscreen tarp type product that will be quicker to install, which is advertised on Amazon as well. Buyer beware, you'll need to purchase something more long lasting than the fasteners that come with the product. Stronger fasteners are out there, but it will add to your cost.

Update review - Very poor quality
This is an update to my initial review posted a couple of months ago during the summer. It's now Dec 28, 2022, and the fence inserts are brittle and falling apart on their own. I live in CA, and yes it gets hot, but this year it was not as hot as in previous years. Something changed in the manufacturing of this product. The ones I purchased years ago were much more resilient to the weather and lasted several years. I'm going to try reaching out to the company and see if I can get replacements. Update: Called the company and they claim they have a 5-year warranty on this product but only if purchased through them. So why sell on Amazon if you are not willing to uphold your warranty? Poor policy and product.

Easy Install - Suggest Longer Pins
Fence tape itself seems to be of good quality.
Easy to install once you figure out a system.
Sturdiness: So far, so good. Installed last week.
Durability: Time will tell. Long, hot summer ahead.
Suggestions to supplier:
1. Provide 3/4" long brass fasteners vs the shorter 1/2". Much easier on the finger-tips to handle and install.
2. Provide washers. Standard hole punch is just big enough for the fastener head to slip through.
Suggestion to customers:
1. I used half-bag of the supplier provided brass fasteners, but it was tough to manipulate and hard on the finger-tips. I bought 3/4" long fasteners when I ordered the fence tape. 3/4" fasteners made life MUCH better. Easier to handle and install.
2. Washers: I did use a box of No. 2 brass washers, then ran out. Bad materials estimating on my part.
BUT....I ended up cutting squares of fence tape and using those as washers - see photo. Perhaps not as aesthetically pleasing, but very functional and easy to do.
3. Definitely start each strip from the bottom when possible, as others have suggested.

Hides My Garbage Cans
No matter what I did to beautify my home, you could always see the garbage cans sitting in my driveway and they looked like crap. I bought the fence strips so I could hide my cans behind the fence and out of sight. It works like a champ. All I can hope for is that the look lasts. If they fail prematurely, I hope they stand by their 5 year warranty. Very satisfied up until now.

What a great product!!! I am very pleased. The slats provide a great amount of privacy for chain link as they are the exact width needed. The ase of installation was wonderful and it looks great, even professional.
I used an awl to poke the holes for the brads. It made a clean hole and the brads fit perfect and sealed the hole brilliantly.

Worked Great
We needed something to block a chain-link fence (to stop the dogs from going crazy). This worked great. On the first weave, I made the mistake of cutting what I thought was the correct length. I used the cut length, but had to move it to different places. I found it was much easier to start at the top (leaving overlap for the brad), weave, then actually attaching the brad at the bottom. I'd cut the excess, then attach the brad at the top. It is a bit time consuming, but works great.

Great way to dress up an old fence
These strips were tedious and time consuming to insert. Additionally, the little brass paper fastener at the end seems a bit flimsy. But, overall it was a great way to dress up an old fence and provide privacy at the same time. Once installed I assume the product will not dry or crack ... I hope. Additionally, be sure to take pliers and fix any damaged areas in your fence prior to applying. The bent or damaged rows will stand out if you do not straighten them out.

I got this far before I ran out of the brass fasteners it came with, still had a lot of tape leftover.
Definitely should order some extra fasteners when you order a roll of this. They're only like 3$ for 100.
Anyway, save yourself the trouble and get a small hole punch from the hardware store before you begin. Poke the hole with the punch then stick the fastener in. Don't try doing it without one, you'll just get frustrated.
Coverage seems good. I weaved mine to double up on the privacy. This fence was 2 3/8" size chain link. Will see how long it lasts.

Nice plastic tape. Very cheap fasteners.
While it looks ok once installed, my issue is the brads that are used to fasten the tape. They are incredibly cheap. They are the kind you would use to fasten paper together, like a school book report or something. Therefore several of them bent up and would not penetrate the tape. So now I will have to get creative with something else and have to go back over an already time consuming project and resecure because as is I doubt it will hold the winter. Im annoyed that for this price they dont include decent useable fasteners.

Ran short on fasteners/brads
I covered a chain link door set and ran out of brads/fasteners. I really thought 125 was too many but when I ran out I thought I had dropped some. But when we counted all had been used and I was 12 short. I had plenty of webbing.

Only thing I did not like was that the first roll got half way on the fence but when I went to complete it, it wasn't enough tape to finish, and the fence is same length as first section, now I ordered another but waiting until June for me to be able to finish, but it is a nice look!!

I really didn't have high expectations when I ordered this but I must say, I'm exceptionally pleased with the results. I didn't have chain link fencing but rather a Non-Climb Horse fence with a 2” x 4” mesh spacing. The Fence Privacy Tape, as you can see, fits PERFECTLY through the openings. I only bought 1 box, as again, I didn't have high expectations and wasn't sure if it would work for what I wanted. I sure wished I would have purchases more!!! I now have to wait to continue until my next shipment arrives SIGH!! I did try to find it locally so I wouldn't have to wait but of course, no one carries it SIGH!!!

Privacy fencing strips
Installed the fencing yesterday. Very easy, didn't take long to install. The brass fasteners do not go through the vinyl so I used a nail to poke a hole and then inserted the fastener. Love the clean look.

Have patience, looks great when finished.
Easy to weave the tape through fence, certain areas were a pain but you figure it out. I used a basic hole punch from Dollar Tree to punch the holes for the fasteners. Time consuming but not difficult. Ordered off the website and it was significantly cheaper.

Helpful hints
Two things:
1. I laced the the privacy strips throughout first. Don't do that. Do one row at a time. It makes it easier when you lock it down with the fasteners. You can reach through the slats to push them through easier. Use needle nose screwdriver to make hole.
2. VERY IMPORTANT - someonehad suggested to not take out from box when using. Do that AND make it even easier make a slit in the side of box to thread through.

Not Enough Brass Fastners
Overall we like the webbing and found it easy to install. Looks very good. However, the package said there were 125 brass fastners. Our package only contained 115. Additionally for the amount of square footage the webbing covers, you need at least 150 brass fastners. We had to buy more than what the package provided to complete the job.

Put them up, looked great! Then the miami sun came out.... they lasted less than 6 month before cracking. Please see picture attached.

This product was super easy to use, and definitely looks great! We had a hole punching tool that made it so easy. Only thing is if you want to basket weave, you made need grommets.

Great Look
After you get the hang of how to keep the rolls of vinyl from exploding, I was really able to work with the product.
I really liked how the finished installation looks on four segments of my chain link fencing in two areas of my yard.
My only concern is the durability of the vinyl over the years. Only time will tell. Great look after installation!

My thoughts
I hate giving bad reviews but I’ll be honest. The product looks great, not cheesy at all but the grommets you use to hold it are very cheesy. I had installed mine mid summer. Nine months later a bunch (30-ish) came loose so I had to re-do them. A little frustrating because that only means I’ll be Re-fixing more in my future. I can’t say I’d recommend this I’m sorry.

Thoughtful idea but need a different way of attaching the strips or just better product.
If your on qaurentine and have a ton of time to install it will be fine, but Its tedious and annoying putting it together, many swear words later we have it done and I'm doomed as I need more. The plastic strips are fine durable but it's the tacks OMG... JUNK, amongst many other names I could use. They bend, they wont poke through the plastic strip, Its annoying and very time consuming. 🤷♀️

Redwood color looks very good in my yard
I just bought my second box of the redwood colored fence weave after the first fence section I did has held up well for over a year now. I was originally concerned the color wouldn't look right being plastic and not wood (and looked pretty red coming out of the box), but it matches the redwood stain on our wood fence quite well. The first section I did has lost some of the red, but has faded to a reddish-brown and still looks good. The button attachments are brass and don't rust, but they have tarnished over time. Overall, it looks very good and does a great job of providing some privacy from neighbors and is a wind break, also. An added bonus is that my plants look really green against this color backdrop.

Good Product
I did a very long fence on the top of a hill in my backyard. The material was easy to work with, my only complaint is that the pins that come with this item is not easy to push through the product (I had to actually use a box cutter and then push the pins through the hole I made with the box cutter). Also, the pins are small so it will be interesting to see how long the pins last without rusting or unfastening. I think the back part should be longer so that it spreads out wider when separated. Time will tell, but overall, I recommend it.

Fence Privacy Tape
It was easy to install but we used office type clips instead of the brads that were enclosed so the holes wouldn't rip out. The tape is not as thick and sturdy as the last batch that I bought from the hardware store. I would recommend sturdier tape and something other than the brads to attach it to the fence. It does have a 5 year warranty and I hope it lives up to it . Hope this is helpful.

Pretty easy to install, all you need is a pair of scissors and a lot of patience. Your thumb will be sore from pushing in the pins. Came out pretty good happy.

This is such a great product and very easy to install. I didn't need to precut, I just threaded it through the chain link, attached it at the top then cut it off on the bottom. I bought this fence privacy tape because our neighbors couldn’t keep their eyes to themselves. We couldn’t do anything in our backyard without them nosing around. It became very annoying. That’s when my husband and I decided to try this out and it has worked like a charm!

Great product, looks great, but install with staples instead of the supplied grommets.
Very satisfied with this product. Looks great up close and from the road. However, some advice for other buyers and the manufacturer. The brass grommets are worthless. Difficult to work with and they look tacky. Staples (regular paper staples) are much easier to use and are mostly invisible. In fact we ordered some black staples from amazon to ensure they are invisible. I think the manufacturer should include color matching staples instead of the grommets. Would probably be cheaper.

Great alternative to privacy fence
No posthole digging or concrete mixing! Easy to install plus adds a pop of color to the landscape! There's YouTube videos to give you ideas for different designs. If privacy fence isn't in the budget this is a great alternative.

It's looking good so far. Easy to install, though I don't know how anyone would do this with no tools (obviously you need scissors, unless you plan to gnaw it to pieces) and I used a tiny hole punching tool from my scrapbook supplies. It didn't go nearly as far as I had hoped. The first photo shows one box worth. The whole area took three boxes with a tiny bit left over.

A classy & cheap solution to ugly chain link fence
So, I did a lot to my backyard all at once, but I feel like this fence weave was essential to getting the complete, fresh look I was going for. I used this for a city backyard where I have a pretty low, chain link fence separating my backyard from the neighbors. I was tired of looking at the underside of the neighbors’ house and this did the trick. It also makes the back patio a much more intimate space, while at the same time looking modern and sleek. The difference is night and day. Wayyy better than my neighbors who have the vertical slats.
Sure, if you look through it at an angle you can somewhat see what’s behind it, but whenever there isn’t light shining directly on it, it is completely opaque. As our houses are all pretty close together, it’s rare that it gets the direct sunlight it would need to be see through.
This product was easy to use, and I had it installed on an 8’x10’ fence in about an hour. You definitely cannot poke the brass tacks through the vinyl- use a screwdriver to punch the hole. The brass pins are a nice finish though, very classy looking. And the weave pattern almost gives the effect of subway tile.
I also liked that this isn’t permanent. As a renter, this was a good option because it doesn’t effect the property in any way, and I didn’t feel like I was making a large financial investment in a place I might not live in forever. For the price and the added use of my yard, I’d be fine if it only lasts a year or two.

Great fence material, but buy extra fasteners
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this fence material. It's thick, durable plastic weaving and it's very easy to install. My only complaint? Pack more fasteners!! Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with this product.

The privacy fence tape width, is not specified with this product, and that was a major let down.
My chain link fence is 1.5 width, and this product is 2 inch....so I had to make a cutter tool to cut it to 1.5 inch size, instead of returning the product back. Anyway hopefully the seller is listening and makes upgrades to improve His product info.

Breaking after 1.5 years
They weren't difficult to install, just time consuming. They did look good for the first year or so. Installed fall of 2017. Starting spring of 2019, they got very brittle. At first, I thought someone slashed them with a knife, but it turned out they are just very fragile now, even undisturbed lengths are breaking off where they were folded over. They are supposed to last 5 years, I got 18 months.

Easy. Here are a few tips.
I installed on one side of my yard to cut back on my dogs' barking at neighbors. It's definitely helped, and they seem to be much calmer. Not a miracle, especially where we have gate gaps, but it helped. Installation is easy but the up-and-down stinks. It helps if you have 2 people: one on the ground feeding it up and cutting, and one at the top. We poked bracket holes through with a sharp screwdriver at the top, and used a regular ol' staple to secure it at the bottom.

Easy and quick to use
I bought these to deter our dogs from barking at the neighbor dogs and work wonderful and was very easy to use. I use a hole punch to put the holes in the weave and it made the perfect size whole for the fastners and I also use the washers just for reinforcement, but wasn't really necessary as the hole punch made a perfect size hole. My husband is a Steeler fan so I put some yellow with the black to give him the colors of his fav team, it was a win win...I love my fence covering.

Poor quality
Poor quality. Bought them by end of 2018 Beginning of 2019 and by the end of 2020 they are falling apart. Everytime the wind blows, more and more of these start breaking into small pieces.
The ones I bought from Homedepot are going strong after 10 years, should have stayed with the same brand instead of changing to these. Will have to order and replace these.

So far so good. It took a while to put up but it got done. It did take two of us to do. We had a hard time getting the brass prongs inserted. We ended up finding a larger nail , poking it then inserting the prong. Time consuming but quicker

Once you have the right equipment, it's very easy to install.
This product is easy to measure and install. You will need something like an awl to punch holes for the fasteners, and sharp shears to cut the pieces to length.

Though it fulfilled it's purpose (kept kittens out of the dogs yard until they were too big to fit through the chain link fence), it's not very sturdy and is already coming apart, so I need to remove it after about 6 months.

Looks great, but not perfect during installation.
It gives about 65% coverage. I'll be doing it again the other way diagonally, which should give 80% privacy. The fasteners are very cheap and bent with no effort. I used a small screwdriver first to punch the hole then inserted the fasteners. They don't supply enough fasteners; I'd recommend buying extra. I'd prefer the fasteners be longer on one end to allow for easier spreading. The tape is very strong and resists creases.

Does not provide 90% blockage
First of all, several people have asked what this stuff is made out of. They received an answer like "it's blah blah blah LDPE." Ok, LDPE must be a secret code name for plastic. Because it's plastic like you find in lawn edging, but not as nearly as thick. It's thick enough to where you can't see through the plastic itself, but the overall coverage is abysmal. By coverage, I mean its ability to prevent people from seeing into your yard.
I had a chainlink gate to do and when my wife and I finished, we stood back and looked at our handy work and could see everything in our backyard just like we had done nothing. The gaps between the strips allow anyone to see into your yard like the stuff isn't there. I'd say it's closer to 5 or 10% blockage. We came to the conclusion that it's better than nothing, but I'm not so sure now.
You're supposed to be able to push the fasteners right through the strips. Get a nail punch or something sharp to punch through unless you can purchase another set of thumbs somewhere.
Last but not least, I had a lot of the stuff leftover and I did a test to see if another row of strips going in the opposite direction would provide 90% coverage. Nope. It would probably bring it to 30 or 40%. Save your money.

Happy with the results
A little time consuming, but worth it. I live in Northwestern Ontario Canada, so it will be interesting to see how it holds up to our winters. Our chainlink fence is only 1 1/2" (not the 2"). I cut all of the strips a bit narrower to have a good fit. Worked great.

I did use a small nail to pre-pierce holes before pushing in the bronze pins that came with the product. It does take patience to weave your fence. It is hard work! But it looks sharp in the end and achieved my purpose.

These give privacy to a chain link fence but still let the breeze come through. I wish they came with better quality fasteners. The tips are rounded so you couldn't just push them through the tape. I had to use a small nail and make a hole each time to fasten tape to the fence. It made installation time much longer than it should have been

I ordered the white to replace the brown fence weave that the previous owner had, the previous weave seemed to hold up well I just didn't like the color. The amount in the picture is exactly one 250ft roll for a tall fence... the white seems to be more private than the brown but I'm thinking of doing a basket weave to make certain it's private which will be more costly. I dont like the price of it but I found another website that sells it for $20 each if I buy in bulk. It's easiest to apply it starting from bottom up and I used scissors to make holes for the brackets.
Update: I basket weaved the fence and it looks really good on my crappy fence. Took forever though.

I am so happy with this purchase! I needed more privacy in my backyard and this does the trick! It is a bit see through, but not terrible like some of the of the other chain-link fence inserts I have seen. It is simple to install with a hole punch and looks very professional for a weekend project. Some reviews suggest that the color is lighter than advertised, but the color is really dependent on your sunlight. It looks exactly as I hoped it would!

Waiting to see how long it holds up to my dog. The product can be a bit of a pain to install depending on the Chan link u have. We have a cheep aluminum gate, the edges were rough. But not a problem with the product itself. And there’s lots of up and down attaching both sides to the fence again was expected and can’t fault the product. I will be picking up more the spaces in out gate were a bit larger then the 2 in product, so I did a basket weave and it looks great. Follow some of the other hints posted. I picked up some washers hoping that will extend the life of the product. As well as I would weave through the fence attached the tops cut the amount I needed than move on once I did a bunch I would attach the bottoms. Seemed to help me. I will add photos as I finnish the rest of the fence. I was the only one working on it my gate took 3 hours to Finnish. It’s in 2 layers. Hopefully the rest of the fence moves quicker being most can be measured and cut not each to size

Love it! The quality (nicely thick), the color (rich and even) 5*. We have some shameful link chain situation going on on the back of our house for rent to cover up, so these work magic! I have just ordered 4 more boxes: 2 same emerald green and 2 in desert sand. And it's so easy to install them. Didn't pre cut them, just threaded one end through the wires while the entire roll is inside of the box with one side slightly opened like a box of cereals.

Works great, easy to cut, snaps that connect the flaps of the material can start hurting your fingers after a while of installation. But this is exactly what you need to make your chain link gate, door or fence have some privacy. You can still see through the edges but it isn't by much.

The black looks great--not very noticeable, but hides the view behind your fence. Pretty tedious to install and I ran out of brads to secure the pieces, even though there is plenty of weave left. Overall I like the look, so I would recommend if you need a little privacy in a small section of fence.

Good Product Depending on Price
I ordered 8 rolls of the Chocolate Brown weave. The shipment was delivered on time, however the weave rolls were not packaged in the Fence Pro box as shown in the product image. Each roll was in a plane white cardboard box with no markings and no installation instructions. These boxes appeared to have been opened already because the sticker seals were broken.
The weave itself is good quality, but it is a lighter shade of brown than expected based on the product image, closer to a "milk chocolate brown". I have installed the weave on my fence, the job was tedious, but simple. There is definitely not enough brass pins provided; I ran out of fasteners from the 1st box about 3/4 of the way through the first weave. I used a hole punch to make holes in the weave before inserting each brass fastener, otherwise they will simply bend without penetrating the weave. The product was good for the price I paid $19/roll, but a week later the price skyrocketed to $32/roll. I would not purchase again at that price.

Great product, easy to install. I didn't precut, just wound it through the chain link, attached it at the top then cut it off on the bottom. I bought this fence weave because our dogs tended to bark at the gate and we wanted to discourage it. It's worked like a charm! They aren't as interested as they can't see clearly through the gate anymore.
I took another poster's suggestion and used #10 brass washers. Yes, it's more expensive but I think it looks better and it will definitely help the wear & tear on the vinyl weave. Washers can be found in bulk online. Highly recommend this product, looks good and definitely gives us more privacy. Will include before & after photos plus closeup of washers.
I used a rivet gun to make the holes, it was the perfect size and easy to slip behind the folded edges of the weave.

Have bought a few rolls of this weave. Takes a lot of time to do it properly (actually very good exercise for the stomach muscles putting this up!). Makes a world of difference in my yard. Makes it look more fancy or classy. Much better than a privacy fence as I can still say hey to the neighbors and they can see over the fence if there is any mischief going on.

Great product. Hopefully it will stand the test of time, but too early to tell at this point.
I read the other reviews and got some good advice before I started to install it. As others have said, this is very easy to install but extremely time consuming. I've spent about 4 hours total so far and only got a 12ft section of 4ft high fence completed.
I definitely recommend using a one hole puncher like someone else recommended. I was able to streamline the install process even more by pre-cutting strips of weave and pre-punching the hole at one end. I highly recommend this method as it really speeds up the process. I attach the pre-cut strip at the bottom of the fence, weave it up to the top, pull it tight, punch a hole and insert pin.

It's a good product overall. It's easy to install, and the texture is soft but not flimsy. Most importantly it gives me some privacy. The only part I did not like was putting the fasteners on but it was pretty simple.

Mostly happy, but have a few observations /questions:
1. Why does it not come in gray or silver? Most fences are galvanized and it would be nice for this to blend into that color.
2. Why are the little hardware pieces gold? Again, most fences are galvanized, and silver would make more sense to match.

Great product equal to the ones they sell at Home Depot. The product itself is vinyl and I needed pure white. It took a handful of fence weaving parties to get it done but the finished product looks amazingly good considering I paid around $500 instead to do over 200 feet rather than having to pay over $5,000 for vinyl fencing. There is a learning curve to this. We happened to have these 3m small cutters that came with a scissors pack from Costco that worked really well when you secure the top with the brads and end on the bottom with the brads. We learned that majority of the fencing was of the same length so one person measured it out over 2 tables and did all the cutting. One person did the running back & forth. The weaving itself is quick but getting the brads on is the challenge especially when your fingers get sore from touching metal for long periods. Make sure you leave a generous enough fold over on the top & bottom so you're not fighting to secure the brads. While folding over, make a tiny slit to pierce the 2 layers then insert the Brad and spread the backside to secure it. If you try to use the Brads itself to pierce the hole it will keep bending over itself & you'll be fighting a losing battle. Even oversized slits did not affect the outcome. Of course I was grateful for all the help so I provided all the drinks, snacks and meals to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It's been 2 months since it's been up and has weathered rains, humidity and scorching heat. Still looking good. I'm glad Amazon had it I white. Home Depot only hand the tan.

Very easy to install into the fence and the finished product looks clean,and gives a warmth to my patio. The straps themselves were sturdy. I had a slight problem pushing the clips through but then used an awl to make the hole first and it went much faster. I only did a section, but given the chance I would do all the way down - it looked so pretty and nice.

Beautiful fence weave.....terrible fasteners...
I would give the fence weave itself 5 stars but the brass fasteners included are terrible.....the directions tell you to push the fasteners through the vinyl (no way as every one I tried bent immediately). What I ended up using was a small phillips head screwdriver to make a hole and then put the brass fastener thru. This worked well and I love how the fence turned out but an upgrade in the fasteners is a must for a 5 star rating!!

Privacy and shade
This is a time consuming project but it does look nice when finished. Instead of how it is shown in picture, I put it across the bottom of my 10X10 dog kennel so my little dog can't see when I put the rabbit inside the kennel for exercise. It has served its purpose. I think it would take about five boxes to completely do a 10X10X6 ft chain link dog kennel. If I get more boxes, I think it will look nice to weave a different color in that matches the house. The pins that secure the ends are pointy but not enough to go through the fence weave. I used the end of a wood screw to poke a hole to get the pins in. Overall, I am glad I bought it and like how it looks on my fence.

This is a great product. I recommend staples instead of the brads to save time. Anyone who says it "ruined their fence" either doesn't know what they're doing or is just looking for a fight. This definitely improves the fence and provides more than 90% blockage. Dogs can't get it down, even crazy ones. Looks great once a vine starts to grow in, too. You won't regret it.

I used brass washers on the back side of the push pins. I used a awl to poke the holes in the material. I used it on a gate that is in front of my garage door. So now passerbys cannot see in when my garage is open. The only warning is that the wind will pass thru the fencing material so the gate will be pushed by the wind. I had to use a bungee to hold it in the open position

I am more or less wondering how this will hold up to dogs on both sides of the fence?? There is this weave type, more flexible, and the slat type, which looks like it might be more sturdier, per se. So, dog resistance is my goal if anyone has some good input, thank you!

Update 1/2023: A few of my stripes have split and when I tried to loop them where they'd split and they'd crack. I'm back 5 yrs later to replace about 7 damaged strips. My neighbor still has the strips that they installed in the 1990s. I guess like everything else, durability isn't what it used to be. 5 yrs of privacy for about $60 isn't bad, although I expected longer. I removed one star due to durability.
2017 (inital review): This was exactly what I was looking for. Provides a little extra privacy and the color is great. I purchased the redwood since my shingles are red and black. Easy to install.

One Person Install Tips
Installed 4 boxes by myself. Simple trick is by ripping the side tab off the box and feeding the roll thru. On chainlink fence start at the 2nd link from bottom and work your way up to the top, using the over/under method. Once you reach the top, use a brass fastener, then goto the bottom and give 2 or 3 finger space, then cut & secure.

States on the box it's good in adverse conditions and shows a picture of a cloud with wind. The product was installed correctly as was the chain link fence that had its poles cemented in the ground. As you can see in the picture I attached, it's horrible in wind and destroyed my fence. I DO NOT recommend this product, it's falsely advertised. Both the company that manufactures it and Amazon who sells it, was notified and neither company will do anything. Amazon won't even return the unused portion of my order because it's 10 days past there 30 day return window. Only reason I gave one star was because I had to.

Depends what you want it for
Here's the deal. If a little extra privacy is all you want. And something easy to install is a priority then this is a good product for you. I did my gate in about 15 minutes. Just needed scissors. If that's all I wanted I would rate 5 stars.
Now, I bought this to keep my dogs from seeing out. I was hoping it would block their view and thus stop their barking. Package states 90 Percent blockage, I don't think so. Probably more like 75-80 percent. Which is still decent. However, the dogs didn't like it blocking their view and they ripped it down from the inside.
Product details does not mention this use to be intended so I can't be mad at the company I just thought I would give it a shot.

thin & easy to cut
the material thats woven through the chain link fence is decent, thin & easy to cut, but the little tacks to secure the ends are about as cheap as they could possibly be & want to fold over before they poke through the material. You have to be very careful pushing them through. I found it helped to shove an ice pick through first. Tedious.

Very Durable Privacy Tape
I purchased the white privacy tape almost seven years ago. There is a five-year warranty on this privacy tape, but it lasted for nearly seven years before some high wind days finally tore it apart. I bought the black privacy tape this time and put it on my back fence in about three hours. The privacy tape comes with brass fasteners. I also purchased brass washers separately so that there was something to really hold the fasteners in place. My research showed that a hole punch was the best at making accurate holes in the privacy tape to put the brass fasteners through. I like that this privacy tape is so extremely durable and it really helps with maintaining some privacy. It also helps my pets not to feel the need to bark as much.

I'm not sure that its worth the cost and hassle. It easy to install, but time intensive. And we bought two rolls and only managed to do half of one side of our yard. We bought this because we have four dogs and our neighbors have two pitbulls and they love nothing more to go at each other through the fence. Its been about two months since we installed it, and the bottoms have almost all been chewed off, and I noticed yesterday that they had even managed to pull one all the way out. So, if you don't have dogs and a small yard, it might be worth it. But with four dogs and a big yard, it wasn't worth the time and money. We'll just start saving for a privacy fence.

Perfect windbreak for my honey bees. Easy to cut with rotary mat, rotary ruler and rotary cutter. Recommend using a small belt hole punch. A regular hole punch will require brass washers. I used a drill to make my holes, but I don't recommend if you want perfect symmetry. I used brass washers to limit hole enlarging on the brass brads, just in case the weave shrinks and expands as the temperature changes.

A nice pure white color; easy to put up but is time consuming as noted by company and other buyers. I bought this color from one seller and a bright yellow from another seller. This one is made in China while the bright yellow is made in the USA; since I am using them together at the same time this will be a good test!

Worked out well
This worked out well for me and looks pretty good. I started out by using a hole punch, but after a while decided those holes were really a little too big for the hardware supplied. I hope I don't have to go back and remake those pieces. I switched to making holes with my drill, but the plastic is not so tough that you couldn't use, well, just about anything.

Very easy to put up and does a pretty good job at adding privacy to your chain link fence. We found that using something that is easier on the hands to start the holes for the brass fasteners made it less painful to poke the holes through. Don't expect to get complete privacy, but it isn't bad.

I'm not the average handyman. I am actually pretty terrible as I've lost my touch but this was an easy to use product! The instructions were easy to follow and the product was of great quality as well! The pins really help tie off the edges and seemed durable (not enough time to fully determine the durability). I definitely felt like I achieved something when I finished (see picture, they're awesome right!) I recommend this product!
