TruTech Fabric® high-density polyethylene compound is a “purpose built” polymer which is easy to use in woven privacy fence screen manufacturing while providing excellent physical properties and delivering exceptional long-term performance in harsh outdoor climatic conditions. Polymers such as Polyethylene are rarely used in their pure form in commercial applications. For example, they may be too brittle or break down under the influence of oxygen or sunlight. Additives chosen by the material manufacturer render polymers suitable for a particular commercial use by modifying properties (mechanical, surface, chemical, aesthetic, processing). FenceScreen’s proprietary TruTech Fabric® High-Density Polyethylene is a high-performance, high-density polymer specially formulated for the production of tapes and monofilaments used in outdoor woven and knitted windscreen fabrics. Tapes and monofilaments made from this resin exhibit an excellent tenacity (ultimate strength of a fiber) at the required elongation.
TruTech Fabric® uses virgin plastic resin that provides more durability, strength, and consistency at the molecular level than some windscreen competitors’ recycled resins. When plastic is modified in processing it undergoes heat and pressure. Heat is required to liquefy the plastic to mold it and pressure is required to form the liquid into an acceptable and consistent shape. The application of heat and pressure puts strain on the molecular structure of the plastic, and the more times this occurs, the weaker the molecular structure becomes. Consequently, products made from recycled resins are typically more brittle than their virgin resin counterparts and can never achieve 100% of mechanical properties of virgin materials. This is not to say recycled plastics cannot be used in various applications, but does explain why recycled materials often have lower safety ratings and are better suited for things like disposable packaging or clothing. Also, recycled plastics can contain any number of literally hundreds of additives such as colorants that contain toxic heavy metals, restricted halogen-based flame retardants, and damaged glass fibers, etc. that can negatively impact the desired properties of the new material.
TruTech Fabric® Polyethylene resin is 100% free of lead and phthalate additives which removes the risk of well-known health hazards. Phthalates are a family of man-made chemical compounds developed in the last century to be used in the manufacture of plastics, solvents, and personal care products. They are frequently added to some plastic products (especially vinyl) to soften and make more flexible. In lab environments, phthalate exposure has been found to be associated with numerous reproductive health and developmental problems. Lead is a well-known health hazard exposure, especially for children, and can affect nearly every system in the body. Lead has been added to some products on the market as it softens plastic and makes it more flexible so that it can go back to its original shape and to stabilize molecules from heat. Sturdy and Well Made - arrived quickly
I ordered this privacy screen to fit a specific section of the fence separating a section of our yard from our neighbors and it arrived very quickly for a custom product. The product itself appears to be very durable and well-made with sturdy grommets/eyelets and good stitching. Most importantly I will only be using the screen for part of the year and I like the fact that it folds up easily into a small box.

Finally after ordering and returning another product I ordered this one and it's exactly what I wanted!! It was put around a pool fence for privacy from neighbors. Can't see through it at all! It's only been up for one day but so far so good! Easy to install happy with how it looks.

I was really concerned with the visibility of these. I have a reactive dog and so do my neighbors. I moved into a house with a chain link fence and did not have the money to get a whole new privacy fence. This was my solution. It works great! The neighbors dog used to bark at EVERYTHING and now I barely hear a peep from him.
The only recc. I have is when putting it on start from the bottom and do all of the bottoms and them have someone help hold up the top and do it like that. Makes it a lot easier and it will avoid you accidentally going slanted with it.

Absolute privacy.
I’ve seen other fence screens around that are pretty much see through and wonder what the point is. This screen is as close to 100% privacy as I can imagine. Got it because my dog barks at EVERYONE walking by but with this she can’t see anyone and it’s made a huge difference in the barking (thank goodness!) I bought 1 to try initially then bought 4 more of them and did our whole yard. Very happy with this product. Side note: not sure how to rate sheerness because I want to give it 5 stars for everything but it is NOT sheer at all which is why it’s awesome.

Very good at blocking view.
Put this screen on our back fence so our dogs could not see neighbors dogs. They can't see each other but they can still hear each other. Life is still quieter with the screen than without it.

Be sure all grommets are on before hanging
A decent privacy barrier. I purchased the green, looks nice & can't see through. Blocked the creepy neighbor from peeping, which was my concern. However, CHECK TO MAKE SURE ALL GROMMETS RIVETS ARE ON IT BEFORE YOU INSTALL! Don't make my mistake and get halfway hung & zip tied to the fence and realize there are 3 or 4 brass grommets missing. Unfortunately, I was so close to having all 50 feet up before I realized there were 2 on the bottom and 2 on the side missing. I didn't secure them to the fence, since they were not reinforced and would just tear out.

This fence covering is excellent! I bought it to block out the"view" of train tracks and the road and houses behind my yard. My dog would bark at everything and everyone he saw. It is so thick you cannot see anything at all through it! Honestly it even seems a little quieter since installing it. I feel like I don't hear the road noise as much. Since putting it up my dog has been so quiet! He just sits outside and actually enjoys the yard without the stress of the passerbys.
It fit my fence perfectly and was easy to install. We purchased stainless steel zip ties separately to use to attach this to our fence. We attached it to the back side of our fence so that on our side the fence still looks the same. We had black slats in our chain link fence that probably blocked 50-60% of the view before. Adding this covering which noted 98% coverage is so awesome! It is a shiny black surface similar to how a tarp surface texture looks and feels. It is thick and feels durable. Once all the grommets were zip tied down it didn't blow around or flap in the wind at all.
The pictures included are from my side of the fence and if you zoom in on the one that shows my neighbors fence with just black slats, you can see the difference. I added some of the fence before we installed the covering as well so you can clearly tell the difference.
I have already recommended this covering to my mother in law and my sister in law for their yards.

Works great
We love this privacy screen. It works as it should. We installed it yesterday on a wooden fence. We just used screws and washers to attached it to the wood. There are holes where you can zip tie it or do as we did and put a screw and washer in it. Now we can’t see the neighbors and they can’t see us!

This is a decent product. Cannot see through it like some others. Be careful if you have limbs where you are placing it. I had small tree branches poke holes. Definitely prune around it before placing. Holding up well even in severe wind, rain, and hail storms. I've been impressed with that in the few months it has been up.

I purchased this with iffy doubts . First i was supper excited as it was delivered the next day ! Man that was fast shipping ! When i took it out the package and started to use on my fence . As it says its a supper screen ! It made sure no one could see past my fence i live on a corner lot where there is alot of passerbyers and lookieloos ( aka theives in the night) my original fence had big gaps where you can see clearly through . but this screen blocked off everything, i feel comfortable in my backyard for once. Plan on buying two more for the back fence and one for the other side fence . Im in no way shape or form affiliated with the company or bribed to write this review just a happy customer ..

This fit my fence perfectly. Despite appearing solid, wind seems to go through this fairly well. We only had to make 4 small v cuts (6”x6”) This product effectively obstructs my dog’s view of the neighbor’s yard and drastically cut how much my dogs bark.

Love this, did the trick, my neighbors have a messy yard and even though I have a 6 foot privacy fence with slats you can still see through it after purchasing this product I can't see anything would recommend to anyone for extra privacy.

Working as advertised.
It provides good blockage - we can only see silhouettes of things behind it. It’s not 6 feet height - only 5’8”, but that is ok because we wanted to keep it from touching the ground. Seems sturdy too, but it’s. Only been up for a few days. It was also delivered one day ahead of schedule.

I LOVE it!!! Only thing is if the neighbors are nosey,they would have to see through the tiny holes. I noticed how it is intertwined, maybe to make it 100% blockage, try using black and a "frosted white" to blur it out completely♡. Just a thought.🤗 totally worth the price! Best privacy fence screen with 98% blockage
This was the best, darkest and, as promised, 98% visibility blockage. The two pictures shows the difference. The photo on the left is the FenceScreen 5'8"' by 50' that I installed along a fence where some of our hedge was thinning. I could not find this same product in a 4' high roll, so I ordered a different manufacturer. That is the photo on the right is from a different manufacturer and, although good, is not as good as Fence Screen. I am happy with Fence Screen.

Buyer beware of different quality!!!!
I ordered (2) 50 ft 98% fence screens off here. Both came from different warehouses. The one I received this past Saturday (September 29th) was great! Exactly what I expected, 98% blockaged. Quality was wonderful and lots of rings to attach to the fence... then comes the one that was delivered Monday (October 1st.) Came from an entirely different warehouse and you’d swear it wasn’t the same product. I’d say 75% blockage even though the package says 98%. I can see right through to our neighbors yard. Quality is LOW and not as many rings to secure. You can totally tell the difference side by side. BEYOND disappointed in the second product and the only reason I’m not returning is because it was a pain to put up. BEWARE.

It really does give you privacy!!
I’ve bought other privacy screens from different companies before this one that claimed to be high quality and could block 90% or better, but then I put them up and can see right through. This one, however, is much better! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how well it blocks the view of my neighbor’s yard! I can’t see anything at all through it! Perfect!

Very pleased with this! Installation was easy with tie straps and 100% blockage yet allows wind to pass through. No more gaps between tarps that I was using before. So happy to have found this!

Appears 100% blockage to me. I looked at new fencing, fence inserts, wood fences, etc, and this was the most affordable solution for keeping my dog away from the neighbor's dog across the fence. They only hear each other occasionally, but never see.

Great purchase
Our collie would get distracted by looking through the fence at the dog walkers in our neighborhood, and we couldn't get her to do her business. So We installed this screen around the interior of our fence, and problem is solved.

Do you live a neighborhood where squirrels and rabbits mock your puppy from a neighboring yard? Does your dog bark a lot at those squirrels & rabbits? Put this up on your fence and enjoy the quiet. My puppy can no longer see through the fence and is a much calmer puppy. Both my wife and neighbors are grateful for the fence privacy screen.

It's cut down on barking quite a bit.
I'd like to disagree (somewhat) with those people who say this won't stop dogs barking. My daughters dogs love to bark and this hasn't slowed them down too much but it has slowed my dogs from barking. My dogs used to like to sit at the fence and bark for the neighbors dogs to come out. They'd bark for hours and it was extremely annoying. This privacy fencing has stopped it completely - it's ruined their fun.
I zip tied my privacy screen to the fence. It's been up for months and is holding up very well. It's withstanding Georgia heat and sun like a champ. I'd buy it again and I've already recommended it to others.

installed 300ft , 2 years ago and still have no rips or any sun fading yet, can’t see thru this fabric at all , I’ve installed others this is the best on the market

Tried other screens but they were either the wrong length ( less than 50 feet ) or too transparent. This one works perfect! I've had it up for several months and it's weathering well. I love it!

sold a defective product
The product does not have enough grommet holes - rather it would present itself better with a few more grommet holes (the spacing is annoyingly spaced apart).
But, my number one concern is, after I used 20 feet of product and then a week later went to install the remaining product a significant rip or tear was found in a section of unopened (unrolled product).
So, if you do buy this product, take the time to inspect the entire 50 feet upon delivery and simply do not assume it will be okay.
The seller ignored my concerns and therefore I am writing this negative review as the seller will not work with me and has chosen to just ignore my problem. One last positive thing... this product can take strong winds and I have added additional grommets.

Great product. Works as intended. Would like to know if could get a custom lenngth. I installed it very easily with my son. Grommets are well placed and seem sturdy. I'm happy with my purchase. Very good blocking, you cannot see the cornfield thru it.
