Just what I was looking for to add a little privacy to my pool fence. Since the fence has smaller diamonds than a standard fence, I did every other row. One box did the four sections of fence. I have tried a couple other privacy products before this one is my favorite.
I added flowers to fill in the gaps for a little bit more privacy. Not sure I like flowers but really happy with how the privacy screen turned out.

it's a sturdy natural looking privacy hedge. Is very Tedious installing if your going for more privacy. The way they show to install gives you the least privacy. I fluff up each strand as I install I'm getting 98% privacy. Need alot of patience if you want a full privacy look. I also zip tie each square of -2 strands.at the top and bottom. Will be very happy when I finish.

A good Product! I have a lot of dogs and got this to reduce their view of the street. This works Perfectly! Easy to install. Slide them down the chain link fence .. Done. Easier with two people but I did most on my own. The wires inside are strong yet workable around odd shapes like tight corners and spots that are not perfectly lined up. No worries - very sturdy. I bought the taller ones that stick over the 4 foot fence and they stand up fine. I did this to suppress dogs jumping the fence So far so good ) The green fringe is dark enough to distract my dogs and light enough to look really nice installed. Visibility is low for the dogs which is why I bought this. There was a problem when the package arrived and customer service was Spot On! They replied like a friend and took care of everything. Situation resolved in a timely manner I wish all companies acted like this. I am happy with the product and recommend unconditionally. My dogs see less outside, the place looks great and the installation is not a problem.

Could be easier to install
Is effective, can be nard to thread through the links if they asre not straight up and down (mine slant up hill on a grade). the wire is easily bent, though.

Tacky as hell
If you want privacy, there are other ways. This stuff feels and looks like cheap Christmas tree material up close and, from further away, it looks like someone carpeted a wall with cheap astroturf. There are very few situations in a suburban environment where this could even begin to be an improvement.

A HEDGE THAT DOESN’T NEED WATER 💦
Awesome stuff! We used it as a backdrop for our front yard/side yard /chainlink fence. We had a 20 ft long 4 ft tall section to cover, & each box covers 10 ft, so two boxes did the trick.
As far as the UV protection, it will be put to the test this summer under the hot Central Florida sun. So, to be determined.
We’re kind of obsessed with anything artificial, wether it be artificial grass, plants, etc., so when we saw these hedge slats we had to get them.
When it came down to installing them I worked right to left, being that I’m right handed. If you’re left handed it may benefit you to work left to right. The first few strands I was starting from the top and pulling it through, but I figured some stuff out as I went along. 1st, when starting from the top hold the strand with the bristles facing down, you’ll know it’s facing correctly cause they’ll be a slight curve on the end which helps the strand weave itself through a linear strand of chainlink, your guide can be the top points of the chainlink, I started each strand to the right most point of the diamond, after passing that first diamond I used my left hand to twist the strand clockwise and used my right hand to gently push the strand down, once I got that technique down I breezed through it, each 10 ft section took me about an hour.
A little Tim consuming but definitely worth the hassle, sure you could buy the privacy canvas panels to cover your chainlink but they’ll rip in a few years, you could also get privacy slats but those become brittle after awhile as well, I feel like these will last awhile, & I’m very satisfied with my purchase. 👍

I really liked this product. I have 3 sections of an 8 foot fence, which is right next to my neighbors, so I wanted more privacy for me and her. The product comes in 6 foot sections and 2 foot sections that you stack. It was super easy to install, only took a few hours for my sections, and gives almost 100% privacy. Make sure you check that you don’t have a super lightweight fence, it gives you what gauge the fence should be, because you’re adding weight to your fence.

They were suppose to send me 8 ft in total. They sent little pieces. 6 ft and then little pieces of 1 foot. Total 7. I reached out to them and they refused to do anything. Shipping was expensive. I would not recommend it

Reduction in quality
I purchased this product approximately five years ago and loved it. It is still good, but it is evident that the company had reduced their product quality, slats are not as thick and the quality of the slats is not as good.

The installation guide could be improve
Installation currently requires no tools. But it takes a little practice; The guide could use this tip for newer items. You don't want to place it between each link of the chain, but skip a couple and pass it through then repeating the same action until you reach the lower area of the fence.

Nice but using cheaper thinner gauge wire
Ordered a box of these to replace some existing. They are the same material but they are using a thinner gage wire and it is not coated. Prior it was coated green. I emailed manufacture and they never responded so customer service is questionable. These are plainly lesser quality than just about 5 years ago unfortunately.

Excellent value, transformed my yard!
I am very pleased with the way the FenPro Hedge Slats block the view of my neighbor's yard and transform the look of my own yard. Although the manufacturer's video makes it look easy to install these slats by sliding them through the fence openings, this did not work for me. I suspect it is because my fence is so old that the chain links sag a bit and are no longer taut enough for an easy install. I solved this problem by using zip ties to attach the slats to the fence. Here are some before and after photos - what a difference this made to the look of my yard!. My only complaint is that the shipping boxes were broken upon delivery; I would recommend using stronger cardboard to enclose this product for shipping.

2 years in the Phoenix Arizona sun/heat and still looks great!
After ordering and testing out 3 different types of "slats" if you will, I bit the bullet and and decided these not only look the best, but also give the better privacy on my 12 gauge, 2-1/2" square chainlink mesh fabric. It's pretty much residential quality not commercial.
To reduce the wind load, I omitted the pine needle slats and added decorative panels centered at 10' increments. So far it's endured 40mph wind gusts, and if I find it still needs more wind load relief I'll add an additional decorative panel to every 10' feet, so it will have 2 instead of 1 per 10' in between fence posts.
I ended up ordering 6' lengths for my 5' fence. This enabled me to cut the tops off to level out a slight grade, then use the cutoffs to wrap around the exposed posts.
Per their website, this should last 15 years in all climates and has a 10 year limited warranty.
We live in the Phoenix AZ area and these will see countless days of scorching sun in full exposure.
Fingers crossed I get a minimum of 10 years without issue, since the sun is notorious for degraded plastics within a few years, and I certainly don't want to deal with tiny plastic pine needles everywhere.
I'll update as the years go by how well it performs.
These are easy to work with, they are similar to working with stiff wired Christmas garland. If you have areas of mesh which are bent, these easily conform.
For installation, each slat if everything is perfect took me roughly 30 seconds to install. For those areas the needed not only twisting but help from both ends roughly a minute or two. I'd plan an hour of time for every 10', and more if you get creative.
Take note these have a cat tail, "V" grain, make you life easier and don't try to push the slats down against the grain, or they will give you grief.
I like it well enough, I've decided to use this along with my decorative panels for the 120' at the front of our home. Now the 1 acre backyard will be a different story.

Impossible to install
I bought this after watching a video which showed how to install these slats. It seemed so easy. Thread into the top and turn clockwise. The slats magically just slipped right down. NOT TRUE. it took over 10 min. to install 1 slat by “weaving” it through the chain link. Useless.
Do not buy unless you have someone who will spend the hours necessary to install. I have 125’ of fence….. No way!

The product is very inconsistent. Bought first box to see if it would live up to the 90 percent coverage and it did. I bought three more boxes and those three boxes were made with less material and had numerous inconsistencies overall in the product. These did not come close to the 90 percent coverage they boast on the product. Called customer service to provide feedback and they seemed not to really care or want to make things right. I would not recommend spending the money on this product. They don't back it up plus don't care about customer service to the consumer. I don't mind paying the money if the product lives up to the packaging specifications but these do not. Buy another product.

Beautiful and easy
We purchase the hedge slats to cover the neighbor's messy yard and it worked wonders. The slats are so easy to install, the colors are so bright and lifelike. The hedge does not look fake, it blends in beautifully with the tree next to it. I will definitely purchase again and will most definitely recommend to family and friends.

PROS: Looks nice, especially from far away. Easy to install, does take some time.
My fence is just slightly under 4ft tall, so i used the extra few inches of the slat and bent it over the top.
CONS: Inconsistent slats, some were really nice and thick, some were thin and crappy. One of the slats had NO green needles on it for the last few inches..
For the high price, i would of expected for all the slats to be nice and thick. Disappointed with that.

Not easy to install
While this product works well to screen off the yard and offer privacy, it is NOT easy to install. The inner wire is too flexible and does not just slide down into the fencing. Be prepared to struggle getting it into the fence.

I would highly recommend these hedge slats to cover up an ugly chain link fence and to add privacy to your space. They look great installed, like a wall of evergreen hedge bushes, and they were easy to install once you got the hang of how they slide into the chain link. It took me about 4 hours to install 50 feet worth of fencing. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is bc it is advertised to cover 10 feet of chain link, but it covers more like 9.5 feet, so when I got to the end of my fence row, I was short several slats to finish the job. I contacted the manufacturer about this and they did send me “replacement” slats to make up for the shortage, but they sent two foot pieces instead of the 5 foot height I purchased, so I pieced the slats together to make it work, but a proper replacement would have been the 5 foot pieces I purchased, especially at the cost of the fencing. It’s pricey, but a far better option as far as look that’s anything else I’ve seen.

Gaps & takes time
FWIW, I think these would look pretty cool against a dark background. That’s not my setup. I read reviews and watched the video, but still didn’t have the greatest time installing onto our old 4’ chain link. Took forever to instal & then finess. One section I did vertical only and it looked horrible with gaps all over for the dogs to see through, even doubling up 2 in each column. Next I did diagonal over an entire 4’ section followed by vertical columns over top of those skipping many diamonds as I weaved through the fence. That substantially eliminated gaps & looked much, much better. I bought 6’ for a 4’ high fence & easily cut the excess with a branch trimmer to weave elsewhere. Overall, the end product wasn’t worth my time at all and I wish I bought something entirely different. (It was about 45-55 and sunny out & these have metal).

nice product but 30% price increase in 1 week!
I purchased one package of hedge slats for my 6 foot high chain link fence - (wanted to ensure the slats afforded enough privacy before purchasing more).
I waited the 1 week for my product to arrive, installed the slats and was very pleased with the results.
When I went to order more, I was shocked to see that the price had increased by 30% - in 1 week! The customer service agent at Fenpro insisted that their manufacturing costs had gone up and that there was nothing he could do to help me despite the fact that I was a repeat customer. I then asked to speak to a manager.
I left a message for Manager " Blake".... Still waiting....

privacy with style
My neighbor recently put up a chain link fence between us. Thanksfully she talked to me before and we have a 6 foot fence instead of 4 foot! I love how it looks! I have the privacy that I was wanting and the joy of something that looks like a real hedge without all the work.

OK product but not as ideal
The last time I bought this kind of privacy slat for one of my fence was 2 years ago. The product I had at that time has bouncy "leaflets" that conceals very well. But this time the "leaflets" of this product seem to be sticking together. As a result, I have to insert more than 2 slats to one "chain hole". Just hope that the "leaflets" will straight out by themselves after they have met the elements.

Do not buy from amazon you can save a lot of money buying directly from fencescreen even with the shipping amount. Trust me! But the product itself is fine
Here’s a tip for the people that say it’s takes an hour to install 10 feet.
You’re not weaving it in and out going vertical on the diamond part of the fence rather you’re weaving on the side of the diamond shape. If you can’t slide the salt down with ease you’re doing it wrong and to save your save the trouble of redoing it just remember there should be two slats per each fence link.
