Silt Fence fabric is used for erosion control during residential or commercial construction. Silt Fence feabric is made from woven polypropylene offering a 95% blockage, available in black color only. It is designed to catch sediment while slowly allowing water flow through the fabric. Silt Fence fabric controls sediment from being washed into streets, streams, down hillside or gardens. It is a popular application for landscapes.
The silt fence fabric comes complete with pre-set stakes every 10 feet - for simple do it yourself installation.
To Properly Install Silt Fence fabric- Unroll fabric on ground, stretch and pound stakes into the ground. The bottom of the fabric should be buried 6 -12 inches below soil to prevent the sediment from escaping underneath.
